Resources for Oregon school communities affected by COVID-19

During this uncertain time for health, economic, and community stability, we are all adjusting our routines to help combat the community spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Through our mission-driven work to improve the health and well-being of people of all races, income levels, and abilities, and build healthy, thriving communities for everyone, we know that many families rely on schools to be more than just a source of education, but also as community, caregivers, and, most importantly, meal providers. We're providing the below information to serve as a community resource, and will update with new or additional information as needed.

We don't know what exactly the future will hold, but we do know that we will get through this, and by working together and maintaining our values, we can ensure we take care of those in our community who need it most, so that everyone can have healthy, thriving communities.

School Meals in Oregon Districts

Nearly all school districts are offering "grab and go" meals at locations (such as schools or bus dropoff sites) since many kids now don't have access to school meals. Partners for a Hunger Free Oregon compiled a list of districts that have posted their meals policies, which is being updated daily at this time.
